A unique payment-reference-number is required in order to use this payment portal. The payment-reference-number may be generated for you by a Sage Pastel staff member or Sage Pastel electronic system for example "Pastel automated renewals".
The unique, payment-reference-number is emailed to you by a Sage Pastel staff member or Sage Pastel electronic system and may cover any type of payment for example an invoice, account credit payment or quotation.
After entering your unique payment reference number, payment can be processed on this portal.

The Sage Pay credit card payment process requires your credit card to be 3D secure. Sage Pay complies with "Verified by Visa" and "MasterCard SecureCode" which are global programs designed to make transacting on the internet safer for both buyers and sellers.

3-D Secure is an XML-based protocol designed to be an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions.
3 Domain Security – is a new method of security mandated by the Card Associations to enhance the security of online transactions.
Once you are registered for 3D secure with your card issuer, you should receive an authorisation request from your card issuer when processing any internet transactions. This could come via sms, USSD e-mail or an installed application and will give you the ability to approve or reject transactions.
